Who can take part

  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM).
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Your heart's pumping strength (ejection fraction) must be 50% or higher.
  • You must have a significant pressure difference in your heart (30 mmHg or more) at rest or with activity.
  • You should experience shortness of breath with mild activity or at rest (NYHA class II or III).
  • You must be able to do a cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET) and be willing to follow the study schedule.
