Who can take part

  • Your child is between 1 and 12 years old
  • Your child is scheduled for an MRI of the brain, body, or an arm/leg as an outpatient
  • Your child is healthy or has a mild to moderate medical condition (ASA I, II, or III)
  • Your child does not have a heart condition or irregular heartbeat
  • Your child is not taking medicines like digoxin or beta-blockers
  • Your child does not have a difficult airway or severe sleep apnea
