Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with an acute aortic dissection using a special CT or MRI scan.
  • You are scheduled for emergency surgery (open or minimally invasive repair).
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You arrived at the hospital within 72 hours of symptoms starting.
  • You or your family member agree to join the study and cooperate with follow-up.
  • You are not pregnant, don't have a severe infection or autoimmune disease, and haven't used long-term immune-suppressing medications.
