Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You are in the intensive care unit after a severe injury and expected to stay more than 2 days
- You are about to start a daily blood thinner shot
- You are covered by French social security or European health insurance
- You do not have severe kidney disease, are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and do not have a bleeding disorder
- Your weight is between 45 and 100 kg (about 100 to 220 pounds)
