Who can take part
- You have AML (not a rare subtype called APL) and have had 1 or 2 rounds of initial chemotherapy.
- Your blood counts have returned to normal, meaning you are in complete remission.
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are well enough to carry out daily activities (ECOG score 0–2) and expected to live more than 3 months.
- Your liver and kidney function are adequate (based on recent blood tests).
