Who can take part

  • You receive hemodialysis (a dialysis treatment done through a machine).
  • You live in the community (not in a long-term care facility).
  • You can walk more than 100 meters, with or without a walking aid.
  • You are not currently dealing with cancer.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You do not have certain serious gut absorption problems or past surgery of the small intestine or colon.
