Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You had a cardiac arrest outside of a hospital, and the medical team decided to try to restart your heart.
  • The cardiac arrest was caused by a medical problem (not by trauma, drowning, electrocution, suffocation, drug overdose, or unknown cause).
  • You are not pregnant, giving birth, or breastfeeding.
  • You are not under legal guardianship, conservatorship, or in prison or detained by court order.
