Who can take part

  • You had a stroke confirmed by a brain scan (CT or MRI).
  • This is your first stroke or a later stroke that left no lasting problems before.
  • You are between 25 and 70 years old.
  • You can understand and follow instructions, and your vital signs are stable.
  • You have at least some movement in your arm and leg (Brunnstrom stage III or higher).
