Who can take part

  • You have a brain injury from lack of oxygen, a head injury, or a stroke.
  • You are currently in an intensive care unit or a high-dependency unit.
  • Your injury happened less than 3 months ago.
  • You have very low scores on a daily living skills test (Early Rehabilitation Barthel Index < 30).
  • You don't have a prior brain injury or major psychiatric disorder.
  • You are not still being sedated and can understand German (or don't have severe aphasia).
