Who can take part

  • You are 16 years old or older.
  • You had a moderate-to-severe head injury or a bleeding stroke.
  • You needed a breathing tube within the first day because of low consciousness.
  • You are being treated at Nicosia General Hospital.
  • After leaving the ICU, you are in a vegetative or minimally conscious state.
  • Your family (or legal guardian) agrees in writing for you to join.
