Who can take part

  • You must be between 1 and 29 years old (special rules for children under 12 in one group).
  • Your AML must have returned after treatment or not responded to chemotherapy.
  • You need to have a stem cell donor ready in case a transplant is needed after the study treatment.
  • Your heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys must be working well enough (doctors will check).
  • You must be able to get out of bed and take care of yourself most of the day.
  • You cannot have active hepatitis B, C, HIV, or uncontrolled infections.
