Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have been diagnosed with high blood pressure by a doctor.
- Your blood pressure must be at least 130/80 mmHg before starting the study medicine.
- You must either have never taken blood pressure medicine or be taking only one blood pressure pill (like an ACE inhibitor, ARB, or CCB) and your doctor says you need to switch to the study medicine.
- You cannot have very severe high blood pressure (180/110 mmHg or higher), secondary causes of high blood pressure, a history of angioedema, severe kidney problems, or high potassium levels.
- You must be willing to give written informed consent to join the study.
