Heart failure patients having bypass surgery are studied

This study looks at tiny structures inside heart muscle cells (especially “power stations” in the cells) in people with certain types of heart failure who are getting coronary bypass surgery. It may help researchers better understand what changes happen in the heart and how this could guide future care.

Chinese Medicine Heart Disease Outcomes Study

This study looks at patterns in heart disease outcomes after bypass or stent surgery, using traditional Chinese medicine principles to predict how patients will do long-term. Researchers hope to identify which patients are at higher risk for complications so they can plan better care.

AI tool to predict pneumonia after heart surgery

This study uses artificial intelligence to help predict if patients might develop pneumonia after heart or blood vessel surgery. It aims to find warning signs early so doctors can act sooner.

Pneumonia, heart health, and your body's germs

This study looks at how pneumonia affects the long-term health of your heart and lungs by studying the germs that live in your body. It may help doctors understand why some people get worse and how to better protect your heart after a serious infection.

Predicting outcomes after heart bypass surgery

This study looks at what factors affect recovery in people having planned coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery with a heart-lung machine. The goal is to find out what helps predict a good recovery.
