  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have a BMI of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 27 or higher with an obesity-related condition like high blood pressure or high cholesterol
  • You have never been treated for obesity with weight-loss medications, endoscopic procedures, or surgery
  • You do not have diabetes
  • If you are able to become pregnant, you are not pregnant and will not become pregnant during the study
