  • You are eligible for a TAVR procedure to replace your aortic valve.
  • You will receive a self-expanding valve (a type that opens automatically).
  • Your doctor can access your heart through your femoral artery (in the groin).
  • This is the first time you are getting a new aortic valve, not a replacement of a previous one.
