Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have had jaw joint or muscle pain or dysfunction for more than 3 months
  • Your jaw problem has been diagnosed using standard criteria (DC/TMD)
  • You do not have cancer, a severe autoimmune disease, or uncontrolled diabetes
  • You are not pregnant, and do not have a bleeding disorder or serious heart condition
  • You are not taking blood thinners (anticoagulants) and do not have an active infection or recent antibiotic use
