New Combination Drug for Older Adults with B-Cell Lymphoma

Large B-Cell Lymphoma (LBCL)

Who can take part

  • Confirmed diagnosis of large B-cell lymphoma (a type of blood cancer) without brain or spinal cord involvement
  • Age 70 or older AND either medically frail, has other health problems that make standard chemo risky, or chooses not to have standard chemo
  • Measurable tumors visible on scans (lymph nodes larger than 1.5 cm or other tumor sites larger than 1 cm)
  • Never received anti-lymphoma drugs before (except steroids like prednisone)
  • Adequate liver, kidney, and bone marrow function based on blood tests
  • No uncontrolled blood clots, serious infections, or significant heart problems
