Who can take part
- Confirmed diagnosis of large B-cell lymphoma (a type of blood cancer) without brain or spinal cord involvement
- Age 70 or older AND either medically frail, has other health problems that make standard chemo risky, or chooses not to have standard chemo
- Measurable tumors visible on scans (lymph nodes larger than 1.5 cm or other tumor sites larger than 1 cm)
- Never received anti-lymphoma drugs before (except steroids like prednisone)
- Adequate liver, kidney, and bone marrow function based on blood tests
- No uncontrolled blood clots, serious infections, or significant heart problems
