Mindfulness and Nerve Stimulation for Young Adults Drinking Heavily

Who can take part

  • Live in Massachusetts
  • Be between 21 and 29 years old
  • Drink more than 14 drinks per week OR at least 5 drinks in one sitting per week (in the past month)
  • Speak and read English well enough to understand the study
  • Experience strong cravings or urges to drink (as measured by a brief screening test)
  • Not currently taking medications to treat alcohol use disorder, opioids, or sedatives
