Who can take part
- You are between 40 and 75 years old
- You had a stroke diagnosed by a doctor, with no more than 3 strokes in your lifetime
- Your stroke happened 6 to 24 months ago
- You can lift your weak arm against gravity (even slightly)
- You score 7 or higher on a simple mental clarity test
- You are medically stable and able to understand and consent to the study
