Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 75 years old
  • You had a stroke diagnosed by a doctor, with no more than 3 strokes in your lifetime
  • Your stroke happened 6 to 24 months ago
  • You can lift your weak arm against gravity (even slightly)
  • You score 7 or higher on a simple mental clarity test
  • You are medically stable and able to understand and consent to the study
