Extended Safety Study of QCZ484 Blood Pressure Medication

Hypertension (HTN)

This is a continuation study for people who completed a previous QCZ484 trial and tolerated it well. Researchers will monitor how safe and effective the medication remains with longer-term use for managing high blood pressure.

Who can take part

  • You must have completed the full treatment period in the original QCZ484 study
  • You had no serious safety problems during the parent study that would put you at risk
  • You do not have liver disease that could be worsened by long-term QCZ484 use
  • You have not developed serious heart rhythm problems, heart valve disease, or severe heart block during the parent study
  • You have no history of heart attack, unstable chest pain, coronary stent placement, bypass surgery, stroke, or mini-stroke
