Who can take part
- You must have completed the full treatment period in the original QCZ484 study
- You had no serious safety problems during the parent study that would put you at risk
- You do not have liver disease that could be worsened by long-term QCZ484 use
- You have not developed serious heart rhythm problems, heart valve disease, or severe heart block during the parent study
- You have no history of heart attack, unstable chest pain, coronary stent placement, bypass surgery, stroke, or mini-stroke
