Who can take part

  • Age 18 to 75 years old
  • Diagnosed with high blood pressure (systolic reading between 140–165 mmHg)
  • Taking 0, 1, or 2 blood pressure medications at a stable dose for at least 4 weeks
  • Diagnosed with high cholesterol not fully controlled by statin medication
  • Fasting LDL cholesterol ('bad' cholesterol) between 70–190 mg/dL and triglycerides below 400 mg/dL
  • No symptoms of dizziness when standing up from lying down
