Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have chronic kidney disease (CKD) Stage 3, 4, or 5, confirmed by kidney function tests for at least 3 months
- You have fluid around your lungs, confirmed by chest X-ray or ultrasound
- You are willing to sign a consent form and may need a needle procedure to collect fluid from around your lungs
- You do not have active cancer, recent surgery on your chest, or a bleeding disorder that prevents safe fluid collection
