  • Child needs a heart catheterization procedure (diagnostic or to fix a heart condition)
  • Child does not have a serious active lung infection
  • Child does not have certain heart rhythm problems or heart blocks
  • Child is not currently on a breathing machine or heart-support medications before the procedure
  • Child has no known allergies to the sedative medications used in this study
