Who can take part
- Your child is between 2 and 12 years old.
- Your child weighs at least 10 kg (about 22 lbs).
- Your child is having a planned heart procedure to close a simple hole (ASD, VSD, or PDA) using a catheter.
- Your child does not have severe medical problems like uncontrolled epilepsy, high pressure in the brain, or serious liver or kidney issues.
- Your child is not allergic to the sedative medicines used in the study (ketamine, dexmedetomidine, or propofol).
