Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You can start treatment within 24 hours of stroke symptom onset
  • You have a large blood clot in a major brain artery (confirmed by imaging)
  • Your baseline stroke severity score (NIHSS) is 6 or higher
  • You were able to perform daily activities before the stroke (mRS score of 2 or less)
  • Your brain imaging shows preserved viable brain tissue (ASPECTS score of 6 or higher)
