This trial tests whether combining two types of therapy—guided movement exercises and mild electrical stimulation of muscles—can help people recover strength and movement after a stroke. If you've had a recent stroke and can walk a little, this study may help you regain function.

Who can take part
- Age 50–65 years old
- Had a first-time stroke (or no problems from a previous stroke) that caused weakness on one side of your body
- Can walk on your own for at least 10 minutes
- Score above 26 on a memory test (showing your thinking is clear enough)
- Your stroke recovery is at stage 3–4 or better on a standard recovery scale
- No serious heart problems, high blood pressure that's hard to control, recent surgery, pacemaker, or metal implants
