Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older
- You have been newly diagnosed with CLL or SLL (confirmed by blood test or tissue biopsy) and have never been treated for it before
- Your disease is active and causing symptoms (like fever, weight loss, fatigue, swollen lymph nodes, or low blood counts)
- Your blood counts and liver and kidney function tests are within acceptable ranges
- You can swallow pills and do not have a digestive condition that prevents you from absorbing medication
