Brain Function After Gynecologic Surgery

Who can take part

  • You are a woman age 18 or older
  • You are having planned removal of your uterus and/or ovaries under general anesthesia (surgery where you're fully asleep)
  • You can complete a memory and thinking test (Montreal Cognitive Assessment) in Turkish
  • You can read, understand, and sign a consent form
  • You do not have dementia or serious memory problems before surgery
  • You have not had a stroke in the past 3 months
