Who can take part
- You must be in a coma with a very low Glasgow Coma Scale score (8 or lower), which measures how alert and responsive you are
- You must have been hospitalized in an intensive care unit for at least 48 hours
- You must have normal hearing (no hearing problems)
- Your heart rate, blood pressure, and blood flow must be stable
- You cannot have a history of head trauma
- A legal representative (family member or guardian) must give informed consent for you to participate
