Who can take part
- Age 18 or older
- Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that may be removable by surgery, with a blocked bile duct
- Bile duct blockage located at least 2 cm below where the liver's ducts join
- High bilirubin level in blood (≥ 3 mg/dL), showing the blockage is significant
- Good enough overall health to tolerate the procedure (ECOG score 0–2)
- Never had a stent placed in your bile duct before
