Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older with confirmed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has relapsed (come back) or is refractory (not responding to treatment)
  • Your AML must have an NPM1 mutation (a specific genetic change) confirmed by testing
  • You must have either no standard treatment options available or have chosen not to pursue standard therapy
  • Your white blood cell count must be 30,000 or lower (medication can help lower this if needed)
  • Your organs (heart, liver, kidneys) must be functioning well enough for the study
  • You cannot be pregnant, nursing, or unwilling to use effective birth control during and after the study
