  • You have extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (SCLC) that has not been treated before
  • Your cancer was confirmed by a biopsy or cell sample, not just imaging
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans
  • You are generally healthy enough for chemotherapy (ECOG score 0–1, meaning you can do most daily activities)
  • Your heart, liver, and kidney function are adequate for the treatment
