  • Age 18 or older
  • Scheduled for your first elective (planned, non-emergency) coronary artery bypass surgery
  • Surgery will use heart-lung bypass machine (CPB)
  • You will be on a breathing machine during surgery with recordable data
  • No severe chronic lung disease before surgery
  • Not currently requiring a breathing machine before surgery
