Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 74 years old.
- You weigh at least 35 kg and your BMI is under 37.5.
- You have had a kidney biopsy showing IgA nephropathy within the last 8 years.
- Your urine protein level is high (at least 1 gram per 24 hours or a specific ratio).
- Your kidney function (eGFR) is 30 or higher.
- You are on a stable dose of a blood pressure medication (like an ACE inhibitor or ARB) for at least 12 weeks, unless you cannot take them.
- You are willing to get two vaccines (for meningitis and pneumonia) at least 2 weeks before starting the drug.
- You do not have other serious kidney diseases, active infections, or a history of certain cancers.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to donate sperm or eggs during the study.
- You have not taken certain other medications for kidney disease or immune system in the past few weeks or months.
