Who can take part
- You are between 22 and 80 years old
- Your doctor has approved you as a candidate for vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) therapy
- You had a stroke that affected your leg and walking ability, but you can still walk short distances on your own (with or without a cane, walker, or leg brace)
- Your affected arm still has some active movement in your thumb and at least 2 other fingers
- You are able to understand and follow simple instructions
- You are not pregnant
