Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a spinal cord injury between neck and mid-back (C2 to T11) that is incomplete (ASIA B, C, or D).
  • Your injury happened less than 1 year ago.
  • You are able to follow instructions and tolerate the stimulation.
  • You have mild or no muscle tightness (spasticity less than 3 on a scale).
  • You do not have metal implants in the lower back area, epilepsy, unresolved fractures, or severe bone thinning.
