PET-CT Scanning for Multiple Myeloma Before CAR T-Cell Therapy

Who can take part

  • You have multiple myeloma and are planning to receive CAR T-cell therapy (Idecel or Ciltacel)
  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You can fast (not eat or drink) for at least 6 hours before your scan
  • You can lie still on a scanner bed for up to 60 minutes without significant discomfort
  • You are willing to have a bone marrow sample taken (a small needle procedure)
  • You weigh 240 kg (about 530 lbs) or less
