Handgrip Exercise for Blood Pressure and Memory in Older Adults

  • You are 65 years old or older
  • You currently attend the Physical Activity Centre of Excellence at McMaster University
  • You speak English
  • You have been diagnosed with high blood pressure or have elevated blood pressure readings
  • Your blood pressure is controlled (not dangerously high right now)
  • Your heart condition is stable—no recent heart attacks, severe chest pain, or serious heart rhythm problems
