G207 virus plus radiation for children with aggressive brain tumors

Who can take part

  • You must be a child or young adult with a high-grade glioma (aggressive brain tumor)
  • Your tumor cannot be in the cerebellum, brainstem, or spinal cord
  • You cannot have cancer that has spread to multiple lobes of the brain or to other parts of your body
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding (females must use birth control during the trial)
  • You cannot be taking high doses of steroids (like dexamethasone) or antiviral drugs that fight herpes
  • You must be willing and able to return for follow-up visits and scans
