Who can take part

  • You are 8 years or older (for the NOAC part) or 18 years or older (for the indobufen part).
  • You have non-valvular atrial fibrillation, a blood clot in a vein (deep vein thrombosis) or lung (pulmonary embolism), or another condition needing a newer blood thinner (NOAC).
  • You are currently taking one of these blood thinners: rivaroxaban, apixaban, dabigatran etexilate, or edoxaban.
  • You have a high risk of bleeding within 72 hours of symptom onset and are starting indobufen for the first time after admission.
  • You are willing to follow the study plan and attend follow-up visits.
