  • You are between 18 and 25 years old
  • You have knee pain that worsens with activities like sitting a long time, climbing stairs, running, squatting, kneeling, or jumping, and feel better when you rest
  • Your pain has lasted at least 3 months and is moderate to severe (rated more than 3 on a 0–10 pain scale) during daily activities
  • You have not had physical therapy for your knee in the last year
