Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- You are scheduled for laparoscopic abdominal or gynecologic surgery expected to last at least 1 hour
- You are in good general health (ASA I or II)
- You have no history of nerve or muscle disease, mental health conditions, or severe heart or lung problems
- You have not had a cold or respiratory infection in the last 2 weeks
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 40 or less
