Who can take part

  • You are in the ICU on a breathing machine (ventilator) with low oxygen levels even with extra oxygen and pressure.
  • You have pneumonia you caught outside the hospital, with at least two symptoms like cough, phlegm, chest pain, or trouble breathing.
  • Your symptoms started within the last 7 days.
  • You have been on the breathing machine for 24 hours or less.
  • You are covered by a French social security program and have given consent (or a family member has).
