- You must be able to walk, even if you need a little help (like using a cane or walker).
- Your mFARS score (a test of movement and coordination) must be between 20 and 70.
- You must have a specific genetic form of FA (GAA repeats in both copies of the FXN gene).
- You cannot take Skyclarys (omaveloxolone) during the trial, and must have stopped it for at least 30 days if you used it before.
