Who can take part

  • You must have been diagnosed with diabetic polyneuropathy, which affects both small and large nerve fibers.
  • You need to be between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You must be willing to take an oral medication and follow the study schedule.
  • Your diabetes treatment must have been stable for the past 3 months.
  • You should not have other conditions that cause nerve damage, like vitamin B12 deficiency or kidney failure.
  • You cannot have a history of alcohol or drug abuse.
