Tracking A-T in babies and young children

Ataxia Telangiectasia

This study is looking for very young children (under 2) with Ataxia Telangiectasia to help find better ways to track the disease using brain scans and other tests. If your child joins, they will have MRIs and other checkups over time to help researchers understand how A-T affects babies and toddlers.

Who can take part

  • Your child must have a confirmed genetic diagnosis of Ataxia Telangiectasia (A-T).
  • Your child must be under 2 years old when they first join the study.
  • Your child must be able to have an MRI (no metal implants, severe kidney problems, or allergy to contrast dye).
  • Your child must not have any other brain or nerve disease besides A-T.
  • Your child must not be on a treatment that specifically targets A-T brain damage, or be in a trial for such a treatment, at the start of this study.
