Who can take part

  • You have a throat tumor that is caused by HPV (p16-positive).
  • You are scheduled for radiation or chemoradiation, or you had surgery but the tumor is still visible on scans.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You can give consent and communicate in the local language.
  • You have not had chemotherapy for this cancer before.
  • You have not had radiation to the throat area before.
