Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) and are starting a stem cell transplant at The Ottawa Hospital.
  • You do not have severe kidney problems (eGFR below 25).
  • Your white blood cell and platelet counts are high enough (no severe neutropenia or thrombocytopenia).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you agree to use effective birth control if needed.
