Who can take part
- You need to have good daily activity (ECOG 0 or 1).
- Your rectal tumor must be within about 12 cm from the anal opening and removable by surgery.
- Your tumor must be RAS/BRAF wild type and have MSS/pMMR status.
- You cannot have had any prior cancer treatments like surgery, chemo, or radiation.
- You must not have active autoimmune disease, inflammatory bowel disease, or severe infection.
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, and must use contraception if needed.
