Who can take part

  • You have a blood disorder called low-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) or clonal cytopenia of undetermined significance (CCUS) with a specific genetic change (SF3B1 mutation).
  • Your bone marrow is working well enough, and you may need red blood cell transfusions.
  • Your liver and kidney function must be within acceptable limits.
  • You have not had other causes of anemia (like iron deficiency or vitamin B12 deficiency) in the last 3 months.
  • You have no recent or uncontrolled infections, and no other cancer that is currently being treated.
  • You have not had certain treatments for MDS or CCUS recently, and you have not had a stem cell transplant in the last 100 days or have active graft-versus-host disease.
